Speaking of which...what better way to introduce one’s self than to outline every aspect of their personhood that they’d like to improve in 2016? I’ve always been really awful at ice breakers anyway, so we can just jump right in.
So, 2015 in review.
Last year I…
…visited 1 other country (good ol’ Canada)
…flew in 14 planes
…read 23 books
…watched 37 movies
…published 1 short story
It wasn’t the most exciting or notable of years, but it was still a good one. I finished my first year in college in Washington, went on a lot of road trips, moved into an apartment with some of my best friends, and fell back in love with my hometown in California. I feel like this past year was kind of a preparation time, getting me ready for everything that’s to come in 2016. A lot of things are going to be happening soon. I have to declare my major next month, then I’ll be taking courses for that, searching for houses to rent next year with my roommates, hopefully writing and reading more, and if all goes as planned, I’ll be studying abroad this time next year. I’m excited to see how it all plays out.
If you’re still here, let me know how your 2015 has been and what you’re most excited for next year! Thanks for even getting this far. I’ll see you soon with 2016 resolutions!
